Welcome to Audio Flashcards

Learn while you drive, walk, or wash dishes. Audio Flashcards turns your study material into spoken questions so you can review with just your ears and voice. No screen required.

Who it's for

  • Language learners building vocabulary and listening skills.
  • Students revising for exams and certifications.
  • Professionals prepping for interviews, sales calls, or licensing tests.
  • Anyone who learns better by listening than by staring at a screen.

How it's different

Most flashcard apps are visual-first and demand your full attention. Audio Flashcards inverts that: each card plays out loud, you answer out loud, and the app handles the rest. That makes review time something you can fit into the gaps in your day instead of carving out a desk session for it.

Audio-first learning

Build flashcards with a spoken question on the front and a spoken answer on the back. Record your own voice for a personal touch, or generate the audio with text-to-speech for faster creation. During a session, the app plays the front of the card, waits for your response, then reveals the back.

Spaced repetition scheduling

Audio Flashcards schedules reviews using FSRS, a modern spaced repetition algorithm. Cards you remember well appear less often; tougher cards come back sooner. You retain more with less effort over time.

Hands-free study

Review sessions are designed for listening. Keep the screen off, connect Bluetooth headphones, and let audio cues guide you through each session. Voice commands let you move forward, go back, repeat a card, and grade your answers without touching your phone.
